Visited the Pima Air and Space Museum on the far south east side of Tucson, on a screamingly windy day.\u00a0 Here are my pictures in the random order that I saw them.\u00a0 Given the wind conditions we limited most of our viewing to the craft inside the hangers.\u00a0 The tour starts in the largest hanger, which is about 3x larger than the three subsequent hangers.<\/p>\n
The museum has a good web site which includes an exhaustive list of all their inventory, and various instructional videos.<\/p>\n
Photo gallery here.<\/a><\/p>\n Hike in Catalina State Park.\u00a0 We bought an AZ State Park pass. Most of the hikes here are long, and so we’ve been told, steep.\u00a0 Ours was was of the few shorter loops.<\/p>\n Photo gallery here.<\/a><\/p>\n Tohono Chul is a botanical garden located in NW Tucson. Medium sized, very interesting, of course lots of cactus.\u00a0 Lots of pics of cactus, as we’re trying to learn about the spikey critters.\u00a0 Our own yard needs some additions.
