This is the best place to see fireworks. The setting is pleasant to the extreme, easy in and out, and they blow off an impressive amount of powder right over your head! It is loud!

Olbrich Gardens free concert (June)
Quick dinner at Dotty Dumplings, then over to Olbrich. Listened to a free rock band, then I wandered.
Coon Valley Greenhouse in June
Stopped at the Mennonite temporary greenhouse on the main drag of Coon Valley. Pulled over in a hurry when I got a glimpse inside.

Solo trip to Hartman Creek, just Tim and Eileen. Bikes, boats, swimming. The weather was cool, cloudy, which was fine, altho the swimming was a little brisk.
