Opera in the park, the 12th year.
Davie and Tommye get there early, set up a nice blanket and table, and then hide under it. Tim and Eileen come later, on their bikes, and cannot find them until they practically step on them, at which point Tim and Eileen happily sponge on this nice site. .
Despite this being a banner “bug year”, the bugs are tolerable this evening.

Documenting the trailer as we got it.
Informal pics, in chronological order, of our kitchen remodel.
Starts with volunteers from “Restore”, which is associated with Habitat for Humanity. 6-7 geezers came over with a big truck, ripped out everything. The next shots show Melvin Borntrager, of rural Hwy 14 west of Richland Center, installing the cabinets with two assistants. Then some shots of the granite after install, and finally pics of the (mostly) finished product.
Over to Brian and Rob’s for a visit on Nantucket.
