Misc galleries September 1999
Pictures from a spin around the edges of Boulder with the new Olympus Digital Camera. This ride started out east, headed up to Eldorado Canyon, then followed bike paths to campus, and the Pearl St. Mall.

Platform tennis in Teluride 1999
Drove to Teluride with a toddler in the back seat. Long drive, fantastic scenery. Tourney was casual. I think they only had one court. I played with John the engineering prof from School of Mines. I think we won. Most of the locals had barely played the game before.
There was an awesome party thrown by one of the millionaire locals.

House on Qualla Ct under construction Boulder
My parents and sister were out for Xmas. We walked over to where our new home was being built. This small neighborhood was a behive of activity as 20 or so homes were going up.
Truck Camping in the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Area
Located just south of Buena Vista west of Hwy 285, and one of our favorite places to camp. There was a forest service camp ground nearby, but as was our habit, we jameed our 4WD truck back into some obscure but flat spot and camped for free. Plus in this case we had a much better view.
The name of the creek running through the area was “Chalk Creek”, and I have a memory of these white cliffs being called the Chalk Cliffs.
