We met up with Lawrence, Cathy, Pabo, and Diego in Perrot St. Park. They are on vacation from El Salvador, where Lawrence is stationed with the State Department, and USAID. Lawrence is deathly ill, worst cough ever. Except for Pablo. His is even more awful. The weather is good, our riding is curtailed. Lawrence has a new bike, a nice Fuji Touring (steel frame).

Another game, another Star Spangled Banner. The weather was warm, dry, and sunny for a change.
We got there early enough to watch both teams in pre-game warmups, something I’d never seen before. We also watched the field crew transform the field from practice mode into tip-top game shape.
