Hessie, up the Poudre, and no longer in existence. Very rough log cabin accommodations and easily the smelliest outhouse I’ve ever experienced. And this at 10 below zero. How can something smell that bad at 10 below? The leaky cabins had no heat except for a wood burning stove. The beds were atrocious. The hot tub was great, altho we were all glad it was dark and we really couldn’t see what we were getting in to.

Motorcycle Trip: CO to LaX, Madison, Virden, and St. Louis
Rode the Suzuki 450 to Wisconsin. Lorraine flew into either Madison or Milwaukee, Dan and I picked her up. We hung at his apartment that had a pier out into Lake Monona. Very sweet. We tootled over to LaX, hung with my folks, the went through Virden on the way to St. Louis to visit Paula and Jeremy, and eventually home to Colorado through Kansas.
Xmas LaX, Madison, Kenosha – 1981
Here’s a smear of pics – first in LaCrosse, near Xmas. Bitter cold. Some shots of the Goode household, more at Spildie’s place.
Then just a few shots of a swing thru Madison. Dana Possin, Ron Pitt, a few places I lived.
Finally, Kenosha, Dan Mieczkowski, Diana.

Neodata people 1981
Mostly taken in the office. Apologies for the quality and color. Only the miracle of Lightroom made many of these viewable.
